SPX is too soon

I've been workin' on the images for a mini I'll have for SPX. I'm having a really good time on the drawings - probably the most fun I've had in a while - but I'm also not getting much sleep (notice the inside out sock). I put some pages on the floor to see how much more work I need to do.

Nib tests

I bought a couple of different nibs from John Neal books to test. Here is a page from my sketchbook (with crazy computer coloring). It was fun to try out these crazy nibs - I was impressed with how flexible and robust these nibs were. My favorite is the least flexible of the the batch I bought, which is the Nikko G nib. The most flexible, which had brush like flexability, was the Brause Rose nib. I did like the Principal EF nib and the crazy small Brause 66EF.
