Trivial comic release party

So this past Friday I hopped on two buses and ended up in New York City to participate in the release party of the newest issue of Four Square Anthologies. A quick side note, I brought only one book to read on my way down (Hunger Games) but it was so entertaining that I finished it before reaching Manhatten. Anyways, the release party was at Thompson Street comics. Evidently, the store used to be a sketchy t-shirt shop where NYU students would go to buy fake IDs. Now, as you can see, it's quite a classy place.

It was cool to see our books displayed in the front window. The glare is bad but you can see Wall City by Alex Kim (xeric awarded), Only Skin by Sean Ford (too good for awards), La Primavera by me (xeric awarded) and the Trivial Anthology.

Inside there was wine, cheese, oreo cake, and of course COMICS!

This is what the comic shop looked like before the event:

Awesome photos... But you forgot to mention the "incident" as we made our way to the grocery store before the event!

That's true - I didn't have a photo though.
