Trivial Anthology Release Party Poster Design

I just finished designing the posters for the Trivial comic anthology release party (which is happening at Thompson Street Comics April 3rd - if you wanna come by). The anthology is the third (I think) of the four square anthologies put out by I Know Joe Kimpel (a online mini comic distro). Sean Ford, Alex Kim, A.L. Arnold, and myself contributed comics which explore strange aspects of the inconsequential, mundane, or familiar. Come for the comics, the company, or the jug of wine (as promised by Arnold).

Pat Lambert coloring class

Patricia Lambert came to CCS this week to teach a two day super condensed coloring class.  She teaches at Parsons in NYC and was dynamic, funny, and full of knowledge.  She's published the amazing book Color and Fiber which features some mind-blowing fiber art as well as a solid discussion of color.   Here are some pages of notes I took from her class:

Pretty confusing huh?  Some of the drawings of heads are based on students - some are not.
